Handcrafted totem poles tower over the Waterwheel gardens depicting life past and present in the Warburton Valley. The poles were made and installed by world renowned artist Angela Polzglaze (Cutting Edge Art) for the Warburton Winterfest Celebration of 1998.
Each pole carries a unique theme such as 'the environment' and 'railway' - Children especially enjoy finding the animals in the forests.
The six poles were originally installed on the village green in a vertical line on the main street and were restored in 2002. They have since been moved to various locations surrounding the Waterwheel and provide a continued reminder of the town's history and strength.
